Have been thinking and gathering parts over the past 18 months or so -- NO expert here, but ...

Great looking layout !

Guess that the large tabbed devices are the high-priced drivers (?) .

Thanks Vic, I'm glad the pics are helpful.
Yes the drivers are DEIC420 devices. You're right, they are pretty expensive. My next rig will probably use IXDD414 drivers. Six FQA11N90 FETs per module, with three IXDD414s driving them. Each IXDD414 driving a pair of FQA11N90s.
