peice of cake.
all you need to do is upload your pictures to your personal webspace.
after that is done you post a message here and using the 'Img' button in the post new message screen, you enter the URL to your picture and your done.
so your post would look like this
Code: Select all
 hi heres my new picture!!

then when you hit the submit and view your message you should see the image in your post :)

oh yea, also try to keep the image size below 50k
you can do this with an image editing program
try not to use .bmp or .tiff file extensions, as they are uncompressed images and are quite large.
convert all images to .jpg

free/easy image upload

Floyd sent me a PM regarding how I post my images. (And the PM system breaks when I try to reply, so Floyd, if you're reading this, I replied by email and it may have been marked as spam).

Whilst writing a response to Floyd, it occurred to me that this could be handy for a couple of people here:

I pay for a domain/webspace, and host the files there. To do the neat links within the forum, I insert tags like the following to put an inline image inside a hyperlink:

[ url=http://image.jpg ]
[ img ]http://thumbnail.jpg[ /img ]

and in the place of image/thumbnail, I put the full path to the image on my server. Just remove the superfluous spaces between the brackets and 'url', '/img' etc, and you can see how the code will work.

I have plenty of webspace to spare -- so I've dropped an uploader script here:
http://infringingwebsite.com/files/
Feel free to use it, guys!

Matt

(The script isn't optimal; you'll need to hit the "view" popup, then
right click on the actual image and choose "properties" to copy its
URL...)
