Yep, could be....

IXYS has one now too.....
They haven't told me a price yet though.

The DRF1200 is over $160.

A very interesting device (DRF1200) but just a driver. The data sheet is on the internet.

15v, 13a, 350 watts diss.
Rds on= 1 ohm
Vds = 1KV

Cost just too high to compete with power supply parts.
The MRF150 will do 300 watts at 30Mhz in Class E with 90% efficiency but costs $30-$50.
