modulator load resistors

Fair Radio has some quite large resistors 6.8 ohms that make good dummy loads for testing modulators. I used a couple like that to test my pDM modulator. Inductive but work. Good for testing power supplies too.

i find incandescent bulbs also work well... and they are much more enlightning :wink:

True but the resistance isn't stable. You blow a little air past thoes resistors and you can handle a lot of audio. I used a 10 ohm one like that when i built the 160 meter rig.
