Hi guys!
I would like to know if I can use the schematics posts here as a simple A.M. transmitter, not Classe E, only Class C.

Hi Arlindo

No not really.....

Try google search and type " FAT5 Class E "

They have low power TX and Modulators that would interest you......appox 10Watts etc:

Thanks

Thanks Wayne, I will go to the google page.

It´s dificult here to mount classe E transmitters because only a few people has an osciloscope, than we prefer using Class C.

Hi Loy

OK not having an oscilloscope....

Well the kits they sell at FAT5 probably would work if made correctly but an oscilloscope is so handy....

Or type in google THE GRENADE PROJECT its a simple 40M AM Transmitter...

Maybe will give you some ideas anyway....

All the best

Hi Wayne:

I saw the Grenade project page. Could you explain me what the photo resistor do at the audio circuit? I never saw something like that.

Best regards.

Hi Loy

Its a form of Audio AGC .... probably does not work all that well and might generate a pumping sound effect...

I would not use it .... so leave everything out from the 100 Ohm resistor to the photo resistor....

It would now be just a standard Audio Amplifier...

Also leave out the RFC and see how you go without it....
