Transformer winding info needed

Postby KC3OL » Wed Feb 12, 2003 9:14 am

I need some winding info for T3, and T4 toroid transformers. The wire size is specified on the schematic but I don't know how many turns to use.

Transformer Winding Information

Postby steve_qix » Wed Feb 12, 2003 12:14 pm

Hi Ted,

The turns are specified on the schematic, but I need to make it clearer. Thanks for the heads up.

The turns specified are literal - 4:1 means 4 turns on the primary and 1 turn on the secondary. 1:2 means 1 turn on the primary and 2 turns on the secondary.

I will revise the schematic to say this :-)

Hope this helps.

Thanks and Regards,

Steve

Steve,

I didn't notice the turns ration was specified. Thanks for your help.
